Solved Resume Building Software?

Hi everyone. I did a search and could not find any but....does anyone know of a good FREE resume building software that is compatible with Windows 7 ? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.......thepapa

I did a google search for resume builder and got quite a few hits for on-line resume builders. I can't vouch for any since I haven't used them.

Thanks for the reply strollin. I had found the online ones too, but I'm a little concerned about putting my info out there online. I was hoping to find a direct install for my system since that would be more secure. Money's tight these days so I'm always looking for free...... Thanks again and have a great day!!! thepapa

Do you have Office? I am sure there are a ton of Templates for Resumes for Word.

You can try GotResumeBuilder.com. It's free. If you are concerned about putting your info online, there's option for you to delete your entire account after you build and download your resume.

Could you not use the Open Office writer application and just make a resume?

Yeah, what's wrong with searching for 'resume samples' in google, then change the appropriate parts?

My opinion having interviewed and hired:
just about any decent word processor will do. It's all about content and layout.
Don't make it too long and the first page should be very appealing to the prospective employer.
There is lots of specific information on the internet eg.
HOW TO WRITE A GOOD RESUME

Resumes should really be kept to 1 page. Anything longer and they aren't read.
