NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, whose most noted drive was the final one of Super Bowl XXXIV, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Saturday afternoon in a downtown condominium. Police said a woman was also shot dead.

1.) He shot her and then shot himself
2.) She shot him and then shot herself
3.) Assailant/s unknown shot them both

Sounds like the Girlfriend plugged him, though that is pretty damn rare.

So much for cheating on your wife and family. Either you stay or you go - the rest is what a coward does.

So for all his skills as a footballer and teammate his actions will now cause him to be remembered for being a cheat who ruined lives around him and destroyed his own.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot multiple times, including once in the head, and a pistol was discovered near the body of the 20-year-old woman found dead with him Saturday in a downtown condominium.

Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron identified the woman as Sahel Kazemi, whom he called a "friend" of McNair's. She had a single gunshot wound to the head.

Police said the 36-year-old McNair was found on the sofa in the living room, and Kazemi was very close to him on the floor. Aaron said the gun was not "readily apparent" when police first arrived.

Aaron said McNair's wife, Mechelle, is "very distraught."

"At this juncture, we do not believe she is involved," he said. "Nothing has been ruled out, but as far as actively looking for a suspect tonight, the answer would be no."

Agree,

With him being shot multiple times, theres a greater chance for it to be a crime of passion. It might not have been her personally, but she could have hired someone with instructions to be brutal. Gotta wonder where the other shots were located, ...maybe the groin area.
