What routers and Adapters are good for Wireless Network, in Vista or Win 7.
Using a Netgear DG834Gv3 with a WG111T Adapter, but it refuses to connect wirelessly.

Have upgraded both with Vista downloads, Router no problem, but Adapter keeps throwing up error 0x80040703,
DLL FUNCTION: sfc.SRSetRestorePoint.

Although I have the same model of router as you, I only connect via Ethernet, so I can't really comment on your problem. However, it might be prudent to use adapters and routers from the same manufacturer, so in your case you would need a Netgear adapter.

WG111T is a Netgear Adapter.

Have you connected at least once, and then changed security settings on the router?

If so, you need to go to Network and Sharing Center, Manage Wireless Networks and delete your network from the list, then search for networks and connect again.
