Hey
I am going to reinstall w7 on my computer as soon as the RTM will leak and this time I am going with 64 bit actually the first time i use 64 bit. I am using safari 4 right now in 32 bit and i thinks it´s working pretty good. But when i re install i want a browser that´s 64 bit compatible.
Is Safari 4 64-bit compatible? Or should I use another browser?

For now I'd suggest staying with a 32-bit browser. Until adobe releases a 64-bit flash plug-in for windows, you wouldn't be able to watch/play flash related things in a 64-bit Browser.

Hey VaNiaL, I have been using Safari 4 for a long time, I use it on my mac and have it on my PC and it runs just fine on Windows & 64 bit, I don't think they make a 64 bit browser yet.

OK thanks for replying. I think safari 4 runs very good too even better than firefox that i used to have installed. Even tough firefox have a lot of add ons but i never really used them so much.

Little OT but which version should i pick of win 7 64 bit right now? i have 7232 version and 7229 which of them should i install?

I don't see how a 64-bit browser would have advantages over a 32-bit browser.

Personally, I don't like Apple software, so I wouldn't reccomend Safari. If you're looking for a fast web browser, than use FireFox or AvantBrowser (might not be the actual name...).

64-bit software generally launches faster and in general has a better response time (took 2 seconds for IE x86 to launch for me, but took half a second for IE x64 to launch).

Took me 2 seconds for me to want to throw my x86 computer out the window, that's for sure...
