Screen resolution problem.

Hello,

I was wondering why i have only one device for my screen resolution called Generic PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.And can't get it back to normal.

Well, the system apparently could not automatically find the right driver for your monitor. Go to the manufacturer's website (of the monitor) and see whether they have something more appropriate.

mogoi, welcome to the Seven Forums.

More important than the monitor driver that whs mentioned above, you need to install the video card driver. At the moment it is showing as "standard VGA adapter", which is a fancy way of saying that it is running on the generic Windows driver that provides just enough functionality to display something on the monitor.
