Screen staying Blank at Graphics Driver Update via Geforce Experience

Hello everyone.A strange issue i am having whilst installing the latest Nvidia Geforce Game Ready driver's via the Nvidia Geforce Experience software.

During the installation (after downloading the Driver) , there are 2 options to choose from : 1) Express Installation &
2) Custom Installation

I choose, Custom & then i check all the components.Lastly ,i check the box with the line saying " Perform a clean installation by uninstallimg old drivers"

Anyways , when you proceed.The screen goes blank for a few seconds and comes back since the current Display Driver gets uninstalled for the downloaded driver to get installed.

Nowadays , the blank screen just stays blank.And i have restart my system.And then i see an old verison of Windows 7 with big icons.Untill i go back to the Geforce Experience software & then again select the New Driver to install.

Why do i have to do this twice & why the screen stays blank untill i restart...

Newest device driver could be buggy install previous version of the graphic card driver.

I have installed / the previous Graphics Driver.

But this Screen going black is happening everytime when i install a new GrPhics Driver update...

Use Display Driver Uninstaller utility too remove all traces of NVIDIA. This allows you to perform a clean install of new drivers so that there are no potential issues with previous versions.

@ FreeBooter Is Display Driver Uninstaller safe to use , since thia software will be removing some files from registry too.And if so , shall i use the Safe Mode option or do the Cleaning in normal mode.

I read somewhere online of one user having issues after using DDU..

Yes its safe to use and use it in Safe Mode.
