After running my computer for approximately 10 to 20 minutes the monitor shuts down without any warning and simultaneously the sound cuts off, rending my computer unresponsive and useless. I suspect it's overheating but I have never experienced these issues before, they are obviously obstructing my work.

I have an ADM Radeon HD 5670 and I have never experienced or noticed the device reaching over 60 Celsius. The ventilator works within normal parameters as far as I can see with the Catalyst Control software and as far as I know all drivers are up-to-date.

I have posted my system information in a previous post regarding BSOD here in case it is of any relevance.

I hope someone is able to provide me with some help, I'd hate to buy a new video card.

The PC itself shuts off or is it still on? This is an important factor!

If it just completely shuts off, most likely one of these:

You could be having a power supply going bad.

You could have a dead case fan.

Thermal paste and/or heatsink/fan on CPU has failed in some way.

Heating failure is something that just shows up one day, so welcome to the wonderful world of PCs. :)

It stays on and it seems to be working just fine, however my G510 keyboard interface isn't responding and the screen is black which is a clear sign that windows isn't active, however the computer maintains to show all hardware running normally. :S

Caps lock light on that keyboard work at that point or no? You hit it several times and it goes off and on.

No, usually would mean it's hardware crashed, and not really working, yes, and Windows is likely OK.

I would get CPU-Z and GPU-Z freeware from cpuid.com and check the temps, see what it's showing before it cuts out on you.
