Search Box Pops Up Randomly When Online

I am operating Windows 7 Dell Laptop.

Occasionally, the search box randomly

pops up, for no reason. Does anyone

have any ideas for a solution? Thanks,

Can you post a screenshot of it so we can see?

Their are a zillion things that can cause a pop up. We need to know what you are doing on the computer when you get the pop up and what the pop up says.

Like samuria has posted; a picture would be very helpful.

The search box randomly pops up, for no reason.

I am not referring TO a pop-up. The "Start

Button" search box pops up when I try to

type, from time to time. Can anyone give

me any ideas as to how to get the box to

stop popping up? Thank you,

Their is a chance that you are touching the Windows Flag Key unknowingly.
At times I do this when I start typing very fast.

I have this issue too, but it's not just the windows search box, it's mostly on Chrome & sometimes even on Thunderbird.

...and this is the 2nd PC this has happened on

If anyone has any insights, I'd love to know.
