Solved Secondary HDD no longer recognized in Windows (Primary SSD is fine)
Running a Lenovo ThinkCentre M93p SFF w/Win7 64-bit w/16GB RAM.
Using a Samsung HD105SI 1TB (1000.2 GB) drive for data only with no problems.
After a recent reboot it is no longer recognized by Windows but is now considered a 1863GB Intel Raid 0 Volume SCSI Disk Device (SATA).
What happened and what can I do to get the data back?

hmmmm............ 1TB drive becomes Unknown , not initialised, unallocated
2TB disk !!! Strange.
Let me get more information. Your ThinkCentre M93p SFF is a Small Form Factor desktop. How many internal disks are there inside the cabinet?
Please safely remove all USB plugged in external disks and post a full screenshot of Windows Disk Management showing only the internal disks. Follow the guidelines here :

You must tell us the story of this HDD
- It has been on 28014 hours. That is 39 months or more than 3 years on, non stop.
- As it says it's part or a RAID array, did you take it from another computer that had RAID 0?

Thanks for your help but I found another solution that worked.
"did you take it from another computer that had RAID 0" ==========> No.
When purchased 3 yrs ago, partition was created and formatted as NTFS before putting data on it.
I booted my PC with a USB stick running Kali Linux which booted into a desktop similar to Win 7. The drive was recognized.
Moved all my files to one of my other USB hard drives.
Booted back into Windows. The data moved to the other drive was just fine. The Samsung drive was still not found.

OK fine. You booted into Live Linux and moved out all the data into another drive. Good job and that made be jobless
.
Still why that drive fails to show up in Windows is a mystery. Especially I am stumped by the fact that a 1TB drive shows up as a 2TB drive in Windows Disk Management.. I had never ever seen that. My google search also yielded no such event reported by any user. Crystal Disk Info shows the drive correctly as 1TB and healthy. And so what exactly has happened?
Now that you have moved out all the data, try initialising that disk as MBR and format it. See whether you can regain the drive in Windows.
If it doesn't, Download Windows Executable (works without installation): HDD Low Level Format Tool ver.4.40 (free for personal use) Website:
HDDGURU: HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool and do a full wipe. Then do a regular format.
( Take care to select the correct drive to wipe)

Interesting. Borrowed a Sabrent USB 3.0 docking station for 3.5" HDD.
Put the drive in it. Plugged it in and it recognized the drive in Windows.
Deleted the old partition. A new partition was created and formatted as NTFS.
Works like a charm.
