All other updates will install fine, only the monthly security rollups fail. This one was 2019-07 but they have been failing for months.

Ran SURT
did an SFC Scan - reported no issues.
ran update again and got same error code 8024200D

cbs.zip put in google drive - this is the link

Well pretty close to what I asked. I'm dealing with the same issue for another OP.
You didn't copy and paste the bold text into the search-box of FRST and click Search Registry
However, don't do this now, change of game-plan!

Ok here we go
Windows update should still be set to NEVER
Unzip and run Stop Windows Update Service & Bits
Unzip fixlist & place on desktop
Run FRST which should still be on your desktop and click FIX
Unzip and run Start Windows Update Service & Bits
Post fixlog please which should be on your desktop after the FRST run.

The last script you sent failed with error popup - inspecting the script I found

===================== Search result for "KB4457139KB4343894" ==========
====== End of Search ======
at the bottom -
You must have forgotten to delete these lines when creating the script.

I removed these lines- saved and ran frst again hitting fix button.
It ran after removing the bottom 2 lines.
fixLog attached
ran Start Windows Update Service & Bits
I also ran the scan registry again after the fix finished and attached the searchreg.txt file from that.

OOPS... No harm!
Always appreciate assistance!
Stuck on no auto delete key
Tried on another thread, to stop WU service, error message,
Same KB4462927
I'm not there yet with hex registry scripts.
Therefore, a repair install is in order.
Here's my scoop.
If you have a Win7 ISO or DVD good
Does is contain contain SP1, then your install of sp1 on your computer must be removed.
If it does then repair install will complete, as you have no System Update Readiness Tool errors indicated in the CheckSUR.log
Repair Windows Without Reformatting
Uninstall SP1.zip

Well I have no installation media - This is a Lenovo Computer and When I try and use its key to download the iso at Microsoft it will not let me because its an OEM key from Lenovo. I have not yet found a way to get the Installation media from Lenovo.

Are you currently working on a method that does not require the repair install?

You mention "I'm not there yet with hex registry scripts."

Hi ParrishB1,

Welcome to SevenForums!

Well I have no installation media - This is a Lenovo Computer.

Have you got a recovery partition?

Yes I have a recovery partition, but as far as I know that is only good to re-image the drive back to the way it came from the factory.

@ParrishB1
Check your Private Messages (PM) Click HERE
You are correct, it will reset to factory condition and your data will be gone unless you backup to another drive, preferably external.

Yes, and if it didn't I have a fix for that too. Overwrite component hive with Win7 ISO clean version, then repair install completes almost always!

Happy Computing!
