Solved Set a program into the All Programs Menu in Startup - need help

Hello to all,
I had a problem getting a ,msi program to install for as yet unknown reasons having to due with it not having the previous version completely uninstalled. I was advised I could extract/unpack the files to a directory and just run the executable. Unable to accomplish this successfully, again for unknown reasons, a member of the Raw Therapee Open Source Software forum kindly unpacked the files into a directory and I downloaded it and cut and pasted it into the Program Files (x86). I pinned the executable to my taskbar in my user account. Is there a way to get the program and folder into the All Program group in the Startup Menu? As always thanks for any assistance!

You can follow the steps 1) & 2) in this post.
Instead of creating a new folder,
you can place your folder in the Programs folder,
or, you can, of course create a folder of your choice if you want,
and places the necessary files in it.

G'day and I will look into this tutorial deeper. Because honestly I believe I just made it available for my main user account. Maybe you could help something sink in my skull, what would happen if I made this program Raw Therapee in properties to run as administrator. What effect or changes would that cause? If you give an application elevated privileges, it doesn't alter how it runs, but it does bypass UAC restrictions and can make your computer less secure.

However, if you keep a tight rein on things and know the origin of the application in question, you shouldn't encounter any problems.
