Cats always land on their feet. Buttered toast always lands butter side down.
Attach buttered toast butter side up to cat's back. Then throw it in the air.
It will fall down but hover about 18 inches off the ground. Then just give it a push.

I found out yesterday that my cat goes crazy over Spanish Manzanilla Olives.
All she does is smell them a little then goes crazy rolling around purring, laying on her back wanting her belly rubbed.

Helen doesn't care one way or the other for catnip at all.
