i got very slow speed in media centre

whether it is lagging or slow speed.

My system specs :

Processor : Intel Pentium (R) Dual Core E5200 @ 2.50 ghz
RAM : 2 GB DDR 2 / 800 Mhz
GPU : Nvidia Geforce 8400 gs DRR2 1 GB

Any help ?

i was wondering if i moved the media center record folder to a drive on its own would that help also would there be any advantage in doing this anyway ?? any thoughts of info anyone
