For a while my connection to the router was an extra 30 seconds from desktop load up, ok not a problem really but considering I have an ssd with just about only windows and a couple of other programs on it and 16gb ram my load up is about 25 seconds and the router connection used to be almost instant on start up when I got to the desktop.
I unplugged the PC to clean inside and when I plugged it back in the connection was now back to almost instant.
So there you are I just thought I would put it out there - a classic power cycle (on and off again )fixed it.
