Some apps won't work in Objectdock/Rocketdock, fine in Start Menu

Really weird problem here. For some reason, some app links won't launch from Objectdock or Rocketdock, yet others will. The only thing they have in common is that they're either Microsoft programs like Freecell or Snipping Tool, or programs that are used to modify Windows like Classic Shell Explorer and Start Menu Customizer.

At the same time, other MS programs like Media Player, and 3rd-party tweaking apps like Ultimate Windows Tweaker, work launch just fine with both docks.

This issue is only happening in the docks. The Start Menu and Explorer will load these programs normally. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Like I said, weird. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

That worked, thanks. Here's the MSDN article, but it doesn't make much sense to me.

File System Redirector (Windows)

Thanks again :)

UPDATE: Didn't work for Freecell, but I was able to make it work by manually creating a link using ObjectDock's add shortcut command or dragging the executable directly from Explorer. In other words, dragging the Start Menu shortcut didn't work.

Oh Microsoft, you so crazy!

Good to hear. Sometimes you have to jump thur some hoop to get it to work.

Rocket dock changes the shortcut route

I know it's really late to answer, but this will be very helpful for those who google this problem.
*For 64bits operative systems only!
Rocket dock does automatically change the shortcut adress to the program (.exe file), adding this: "(x86)". What makes the shortcut fail.
This means that for any 64bit program you add to the rocket bar, the adress will be wrong. As 32bits programs install in "program files(x86)" folder, while 64bits ones install in "program files" folder.

There for, the solution is to delete it from the shortcut adress. Here's an example:
Original program adress: C:/program files/avast/avast.exe
Shortcut adress once added to the bar: C:/program files(x86)/avast/avast.exe
To get to the shortcut's information, you have to do the following:
Right click on the icon>icon options
Once the shortcut has the adress right, the icon on the bar works just fine.

I hope it helps.
Salutes

With the Snipping tool I had to use
C:\Windows\Sysnative\SnippingTool.exe as the link to it.

Thanks, that worked for me on Windows 10! :)
