Solved Some Automatic Update no longer let's me set 5.1 over HDMI WIN7SP1P64

Solved! I have spent hours trying to get my uncompressed 5.1 audio working again. Something updated and I can no longer select or even see 5.1 or 7.1 see the enclosed screen capture. Boo Hoo! THis is supposedly a production machine

Solved! There used to be a setting available from the UI that said "ignore items being plugged in and turning off" I don't know where it went.... Thought it was in vision control center...

My computer goes to a Sony Surround sound receiver then out to the TV. If I disconnect the TV from the Sony AV then the computer can only see the Sony AV (5.1). If I plug the TV in (stereo Only) to the Sony AV Receiver the computer thinks stereo only is available. I have to disconnect the tv (physically unplug HDMI.... not switched) from the Sony to hear 5.1.
