Apologies in advance I am not computer savvy.

For months I have used my headphones without problem. At the weekend I unplugged them and connected my Phillips speakers which worked fine. Later that day I swapped back and the sound has vanished. I tried reconnecting the speakers and now they don't work either.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers and checking all the levels but - nothing. I get a crackle on the headphones as the plug enters but no volume.

Help! (please)

Not enough information available in your System Specs. Also, the OS is not London, posting here suggests it is Windows 7.
