I have been using Win 7 for quite a few days now but i still can't seem to find a way to auto connect to PPPoE broadband without pasting a shortcut into the startup folder (this process doesnot always work).
When i used XP i stumbled on to an Dial Up Connection windows option from GPEDIT.MSC. But i cant seem to find that option in 7. The window looks a something like the one in http://i55.tinypic.com/2mgttw.jpg .
FYI, the same window pops up at start up if IDM (internet download manager) dial up is used.
Someone please help me by telling me where i could find the option

Are you sure your broadband connection is in PPPOE mode and not in bridged mode?
