Hi all

I am new to speech recognition. I set everything up last night on my laptop and today I started setting up the simple speech macros for basic commands with the program.
I am having problems with the "send keystrokes" option. I want to have a speech macros for turning the volume up/down and screen brightness up/down, but I can't seem to get the FN+F# keys to work...
I've tried {{FN}}F#, {FN}F#, { { FN } }F#, {{FN}}{F#}... basically any all combinations I thought possible!! I've tried googling it to see if there are other people with the same problem, but no luck. :(

So, does anyone have an ideas/ advice as to how to work the FN+F# ...or have another way around this?

I am quite computer illiterate, so more detailed explanations would be helpful... :D

Thanks!

i'm prety sure you can't map the FN key. because that is used by the bios for hardware shortcuts (enable/disable wifi/bluetooth/3G eta).
i may be wrong tho, as this isn't my speciality.
