Solved Strange Error Message Pops Up After New GPU Install

Yesterday I upgraded my GPU to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 970. It performs fine, but now I keep getting a strange error message that reads: "Cnext. Failed to create Open GL context for Format Q Surface Format (v.2.0....)."

I have no idea what that error message pertains to, but I suspect it's of more interest to developers and advanced users.

However, I'd like to get a grasp on just what it is, and how to resolve its constant popping up.

I trust that you removed the drivers from the old video card and then reinstalled the drivers after installing the new card?

I just uninstalled all AMD / Radeon drivers from my system via the Control Panel.

The Open GL / Radeon not working error message has not popped up as it usually does.

Hope this settles the matter....

Well done, fingers crossed.
Oh and in the future when you update your Nvidia drivers, always tick the box to uninstall then re-install the new driver.
