Hello! Today I installed the latest updates of Windows 7 and when I restarted my laptop the screen resolution went back to 800x600. When I open the Screen Resolution settings and click on the resolution the falling menu shows for 0.0001 seconds and it disappears. I tried pressing Tab, but didn't work.
I opened Device Manager and I saw strange monitor driver. Name: Standart VGA monitor.
I uninstalled it, and this fixed the problem... BUT when I restarted the laptop the screen resolution goes back to 800x600 and the driver installed itself. This happens after every restart/shutdown.
