Swapped old music to new computer - Problems

Hey all,

I just swapped 28 gigs of music from my 2006 Macbook to my new 2011 Sager laptop.

I did this by making a few trips with my 16gb flash stick.

However, I notice some songs seem "damaged" when I play them on my new computer, is this possible with a USB stick data transfer?

If I can find my external, I will try with that and compare.

It can happen but it also could be a codec issue as well.
