Switch to Windows Aero Basic when on Battery Power

Hey guys, wanted to ask a question.

Is there a way to have Windows 7 switch to Aero Basic when on battery power. I see that when on the Power Saver mode, it turns off transparency when on battery power. I guess this is enough, but if it was to disable Aero, would that give me more battery life, or should I just keep it disabling Transparency?

Sorry if this is in the wrong category, couldn't find a "Power" section.

Is there no way for you to manually configure what you want to turn off and what you want to keep on.

There may be an option for advanced settings?

Im pretty sure that the transparency along with other features is aero...

create a shortcut and put the following info in red into the target part of the shortcut.
