Hi,

I recently created both a system image and a back up of my computer onto an external drive. I am not sure where my system image or data backup is located. When I clicked on the "manage size" on the Back Up and Restore program, I got:

Data file backup: 133.76 GB
System Image: 368.70 MB
Other files: 409.08 GB
Free space: 388.31 GB
Total: 931.51 GB

I checked the total size of my all files in my external hard drive, I got 403 GB (432,728,149,982 bytes).

I have 182 GB (196,003,067,276 bytes) of file size excluding a folder I called Full Back up, 220 GB (236,725,082,706 bytes). I am not sure if the Full Back Up folder is the system image or the data file backup.

Looking at the Backup and Restore program, the data file backup was created 11/6, while the system image is created 11/5. My desktop had around 200 GB of space taken on C:/ when I did these.

I am missing 140 GB of space somewhere. Could that be the data file backup hidden away? Or could that be the system image?

Thanks for help.

What program did you use to make the System Image and the Backup? I am familiar with both Macrium Reflect and Acronis True Image. I am not familiar with Windows Backup/Restore.
