System image manager

Hi . I am looking for a program that enables you to rename and add info to the headline on individual system images made in and by w7 besides the automatic date info . In windows you can not do that and if you have many images it becomes hard to keep track of the content of all of them , so it would be handy to be able to rename or add info to each and every headline of each image . Does a program like that exist , or am i forced to construct one and become a millionaire at the same time ?!

You'll probably have to become a millionaire.:)
If you use a different imaging package - Macrium, Ghost, etc - you can just name the image as you like with something descriptive. That's what I do. But I normally only use the date in the name.
With the Win 7 incrementals, I would keep a simple text file noting the date the image was taken, and why. The text file is included in data backups. I keep a text file for notes about my imaging, but it's main use is to remind me what to rebuild before taking my next image. My process is to always restore my last image, look at my notes for any changes I want (a new useful app for example,) then make those changes, do software updates, then immediately make a new image. At the bottom of the text file I then just note "above done." Still have the record of changes. I usually only keep about 3 full images. Anyway, a simple text file works wonders if you just take notes.
