system restore 64 bit?

i received a update last night,the shortcut i made for system restore was gone ,did system restore change?i noticed the ability to create a restore is done automaticly now is this correct?

Hi bluzeboy, I don't know why your system restore shortcut disappeared :huh: but windows always does an automatic restore point when installing updates, you can create one manually by typing create a restore point into your start menu

If you are referring to my "type it into the start menu" comment then do this:

Open your start menu,
In the text box at the bottom type Create a Restore Point
you will see an option come up called Create a Restore Point, click it

its pretty self explanatory from there
