system restore no longer making automatic system checkpoints but it is set up in task manager to happen 12:am every day. I can go days and no automatic system checkpoint was set up. I have to keep making a manual sr system checkpoints. Task manager says sr automatic was set up, but it does not show when I open systenm restore
NOTE ADD INFO
1) VSS service in services is set to manual
2) I am usinG kaspersky 2011 internet security
3) can make manual checkpoints . and disk space set to 100meg for restore points
4) New software software or windows update creates sytem checkpoints
6) have 2 hard drives, secondary drive sr is disabled, primary hard drive sr is enabled
but the problem is automatic restore points are not being made. 100 gig space set up, but only used 27 gig. Automatic restore point still should have beem set up. Something is blocking it. What can i do
Although the task is set to run every day it only ensures that you get a minimum of one RP per week.

I seems that MY system restore points for prioe months are also disappearing. Could i be win sp1 is causing the issue. I will have to check it in a week, but I see weeks apaer there is no new restore point
Older RPs are automatically deleted to make room for new ones when your allocated storage becomes full. I cant remember whether the installation of SP1 caused prior RPs to be deleted. I think it did but I'm not sure.
