I might have to restore my computer to a restore point I made a week ago, if so will all the restore points I made during the past week be deleted? Basically all the restore points made after the point I want to revert to?

If you restore to the week ago point it will be fine. If you then restore to a newer one you may be importing the exact problem you are trying to get away from. Why wold you want to double restore?

No, they will not, and you can also undo the restore if you need to.

My problem is halfway resolved and Im thinking if I restore to a point when I think it wasn't happening that it might resolve everything but if the problem is still there I want to go back to now when its at least somewhat solved.

You can do that. You do Go though the steps as you would for a earlier date. When you get to this window see the red circle? Click it and you go to original spot you started.

Tutorial here. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

Also at this window if you check "Show other restore points" You will have more System points to choose from..
