To Upgrade or Not to Upgrade

the only thing is i would prefer buying from www.arc.com.au because they are my local store, and please make sure they have it in stock, if one of you guys can have a look, i would be very grateful. maybe i should get 9500GT and upgrade my video card again later, in a year or so, because currently my Nvidia 7600 GeForce just doesnt work very well. thanks

if possible, get one with 1GB memory, 512MB just doesn't seem to cut it anymore.
Galaxy is the only vendor that has that card compatible with PCIe.
if you want PCIe 2.0, you'll have to look for another motherboard. Im really not sure of the differance between the 2, different sockets maybe. so, keep an eye on the specifications.

but i talked to the store owners, and they told me there is no conflict between the motherboard and video card, thanks for pointing that out, i will ask them about that. but isnt the 9500 GT alright for now, if the motherboard works with the video card, or should i sick with the nvidia GeForce 7600?

7600's are pretty dated. heck, my card is pretty well dated. go for the 9500GT.
its impossible to keep up with technology, but that card should give you a few years, before it's obsolete.

hope so, going to call the store tomorrow, thanks a lot for that holo, saved me a lot of hassle in the future, about the video card spot in the motherboard. i will update this thread as i get it, thanks everyone for your great help
