So hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you here at Seven Forums could help.

Recently I've been having problems with my PC, the main problem being that it won't start.
Every time I try to start my PC I encounter the BSOD,
I can't get get past the windows starting screen without getting the BSOD, no matter how many times I restart it.

The error code that I am getting is; 0x0000010d
The message at the top says "The Windows Driver framework Has detected that a violation has occurred."

Now the solutions that I have tried are the following:
1. Tried to startup repair.
2. Tried System restore.
3. Tried Memory diagnostic.
4. Took out Wireless adapter and CD-Drive.
5. Tried re-installing Windows using the disk.
6. Tried booting in safe mode, which took me to another error screen.

Now personally I think this is a hardware problem, maybe my graphics card or RAM however, I'm not completely sure about that and I don't want to send my PC out to get it checked, because then that involves money, money which I don't currently have.

I tried researching on-line but I couldn't seem to find anything that was helpful,
I was wondering if any of you guys have had this problem, or if anyone knows how to fix it?

Additional information:
Power Supply - EVO 550W
CPU - AMD bulldozer FX 6100
GPU - Raedeon HD 6790
RAM - 4GB HyperX
HDD - 1TB western digital Blue
Motherboard - Gigabyte M8

I may also note that this PC has been working fine for over 2 years and this is the first time that I have ever encountered something like this.

Please not that I have not installed any new hardware, or driver updates recently.
The last thing that I did on the PC was install a game on Steam, which also installed DirectX with it.

I knew that reply was coming, however I can't actually get on my PC to run the diagnostics tool, as my PC gets the BSOD every single time I start it up.

A 10D BSOD is usually caused by either a device driver or a failing memory.

To test the memory, you need not to start windows. Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

If memtest is free from errors, you need to care the drivers. Boot to System Recovery Options . Try Safe Mode with Command Prompt. In the command prompt .... enter the command ....

start msconfig

It will open the system configuration window, with the "general" tab selected.

  • Click the "startup" tab. Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK.
  • Click on "services" tab. Check the "Hide all Microsoft Services"; Click "Disable all" > Apply > OK
Then try to boot again normally. Is it failing still?

If so, boot to System Recovery Options once again. Try Enable Boot Logging. It will create a file named ntbtlog.txt. Collect it and upload it. If you cannot do it within windows, Boot with a live Linux disc and collect it in a USB stick, use the usb stick in another computer and upload it. It is necessary.
