turn off laptop screen

I have an HP laptop. I have the settings to turn off the screen after 5 minutes of inactivity, however, I think that using Majic Jack as my phone service may show the system always being active.

Is there a way I can manually turn of the screen without shutting down or going to sleep mode, which would also turn off the Magic Jack?
