UAC settings

I am unable to alter my user account settings since setting to the never notify position
The account setting slider moves but when i click OK nothing happens

Hello,

I understand you are stuck on Never Notify for User Account Control (UAC)? Try doing a System Restore if you want to revert.

After setting your UAC settings and clicking on OK, restart the computer to see if it will apply then.

I never have done it but have you tried it in SAFE mode?

A repair install should do it for you without losing anything.

Have tried in Safe mode but unsuccessful
Will consider a Repaifunction when i have a litle more time

I always felt that a repair would solve the problem
But we can not repair every time a problem occours
The Answere must be in the registry for any software or operating system failure
would be interested in the experts opinion
