Un-Hiding A USB Stick That Only Shows In Device Mgr. Under "Hidden" ?

Hello,

Have a new USB Cruzer USB 2.0 stick that won't show anywhere when inserted.

Went to Device Manager, and it does show up, apparently,
in the "Hidden" items tab. No idea why. Thoughts ?

How do I, please, Un-Hide it, so it shows up normally when inserted ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Robert11,
How did you format USB? With Mac or Win?
Windows and Mac OS X use different file systems. Windows uses the NTFS file system for its internal drives, while Macs use HFS+. External hard disks and USB drives are generally formatted with the Windows FAT32 file system for maximum compatibility — most devices, including Macs, can read and write from FAT32 devices.

Does the drive show up in Disk Management when it's plugged in? (WIN+R > "diskmgmt.msc")

From what I've read, it seems that if a device is shown as "hidden" in Device Manager, it means it's unplugged. Simply plugging your flash drive in should make it not hidden anymore.

Edit: Device Manager and Disk Management are not the same

Just a quick thanks for all the suggestions and help.
Nice of you all to take the time.
