My Dell Laptop uses F12 for boot menu and F2 for setup/BIOS. Using F2 first to set your boot device order will allow you to bypass using the Boot Menu options. In other words. if you set your BIOS to boot first from CD/DVD and second from USD and finally third from HDD, then your Windows Install DVD or USB device should automatically kick in. I may ask you to press any key to boot from CD/DVD, in which case you should do so. Otherwise use F12 to enter Boot Menu and select the boot device you have your install media file on (USB, CD, DVD). Make sure your input devices are attached securely....mouse, keyboard, monitor if applicable.
