Solved unable to watch or listen to any bbc programme via iplayer

I have no idea who if anyone, is going to be able to answer my question because I should direct this problem to the BBC ... trouble is because they appear to be so irritatingly user-unfriendly, I've been unable to find a suitale page on the Beeb site to send my question.
Thus my question here.

Whenever I've attempted to use iPlayer to catch-up any BBC TV or Radio programme in the last few days, the only response is "This content doesn't seem to be working. Please try again later". (So patronising!)

This applies only when I've used my desktop which is running W7Pro 64bit with PaleMoon v27.5.1

My laptop can access all iPlayer programmes perfectly well (running W10Pro and PaleMoon v27.5.1

All other Tv stations are accessible on both computers.

Is there anything I can do instead of having to go back to the BBc so as to retain my sanity?

I would be most grateful ... my thanks in advance.

assuming add-ons etc are exactly the same, weird

try it with waterfox, very like Palemoon, if it works with that then its gotta be Palemoon.

But from the message sounds more like it doesnt like something in your machine, even weirder as you said everything else works.

thank you for your post ... it turned out to be good advice so think you cracked the problem for me.

i downloaded waterfox, downloaded it then went onto iplayer and it played the two bbc programmes that i'd been struggling to find. waterfox seems like a good browser but i'll investigate further later on.

anyway, to continue and cutting a long story short, once i had the bbc programmes playing okay waterfox, i decided to save a couple of files from my palemoon installation, delete the rest of it and then re-install it again. once it was up and running again, went through the process of going through iplayer and managed to get the couple of bbc programmes that i was originally looking for ... et voila, up they came ... they played perfectly.

i'd originally installed palemoon on both my laptop and desktop ... laptop still worked but desktop didn't ... it was so obvious, like hiding in plain sight!! the desktop is now working again like it should do.
