Solved Unidentifiable AMD Audio Device

Greetings,
Today I was trying to fix all the problems of my drivers and I succeeded on most of them, but I couldn't identify this particular driver.

And this seems to be the problem.

I couldn't understand what it is. I'm not very familiar with these 'signatures' so could you guys help me? I already tried third-party driver updaters but they couldn't fix it too.

Hi, Paul. The linked MSI page does not contain a download link for the chipset drivers.

As for OP, you can get the chipset, and graphics card drivers, from this page.

My bad, very bad design choice by MSI to have the product listed under the default submenu selection.

RealTek is the onboard audio codec that's built into your motherboard. It is enabled so long as it's turned on in the system setup, the drivers are installed, Windows Audio Service is running, and something is plugged in.

AMD HD Audio Device will show up as "High Definition Audio Device" when the AMD HDMI/DP Drivers are not installed. When they are installed it will show up as "AMD HD Audio Device". When nothing is plugged into the HDMI/DP jack it will show up as "Not Plugged In" in your Sound Playback panel.

It is not any better than the Realtek device. The realtek device is an audio endpoint in that it takes digital audio in a wave format and converts it into an analog waveform which drives your speaker. The AMD HD Audio Device can only pass digital audio through to another endpoint such as a receiver or TV. Since the AMD HD Audio Device is purely a passthrough device (it doesn't do anything to the audio itself, it just passes it to something that can) it can also pass encoded audio channels such as Dolby Digital (AC3) and Digital Theater Sound (DTS). These other audio formats require a receiver which is capable of decoding that format.
