Unknown network issue on boot-up

Good morning one and all...

Long time stalker, 1st time poster. By far one of the most friendly and helpful forums I have seen in a long while.

I really hope someone can assist me with this issue, it's making me long for the days of Windows ME. (bwa-hah-hah-hah)

OK, so the problem...

I've never seen this problem, hope someone can help...

When I boot up I have no internet connection. I go into my network connections, right click and disable my Local Area Connection....then re-enable it and everything is fine.

But, when I initially open the network connections, it says it's connected to an unknown network. Once I disconnect and reconnect, it says "network"...and I have internet and everything is fine.

I've attached my HJT. Yes, I know, I should disable StumbleUpon but it's my favorite addiction.

Can some genius assist?

Wireless, correct?

If wireless, try setting the lease time in DHCP settings on the router to its maximum setting and change the radio broadcast channel in use.

If that was my machine, I'd stop the Google Update, Google Toolbar Notifier, Acrotray, Adobe Acrobat Assistant, Java Updater, Office Groove Monitor and Quicktime Task from starting with Windows.

ive have the same problem whit my machine. so i even changed to another and newer motherboard and cpu and still i get same problem whit completly diffrent chipset. this seems to a be a software issue in windows 7.
So i think we are looking for the same solution here =(

Have you scanned for viruses?

I'm guessing this is an onboard network card.

Have you tried purchasing a PCI network card?

Yup, 100% virus and malware free...ran NOD32, Malware Bytes, Windows Defender, Spydoctor, and AVG .

It's an onboard NIC card...haven't tried replacing it. Forgot one important, and confusing, detail.

If I boot into safe mode with networking, I have internet connectivity right from the get go. I don't have to disable and reenable the local network connection...it just works perfect.

Isn't this slowing down you computer?

no offense taken....it comes from having a wife and kids using it more than I do. No real speed issues to speak of though...but I will be trimming the fat a bit once I get this issue resolved.

mdnsresponder.exe is part of the Bonjour service installed by Apple iTunes and some Adobe products - Apple describes the service as a "zero configuration networking process..." It has been known to cause a lot of networking headaches for 7 users.

I'm happy to report it was Bonjour causing the headache. Although I tried following the instructions, I was unable to unregister the dll, says it's being used by Java...but I got rid of the mdsnreponder.exe, disabled the service, and voila.

I'm quite thankful right now for people who are not only friendly, but a buttload smarter than I am.
