Update Settings disappear

Hello,
I have a strange problem with my Windows 7.
After I uncheck one of the settings on the update panel, and after restart of the computer that setting disappears, so I cannot check it again. Plz help.

Try this:
1.Restart computer,sometimes it work
2.Reregister WU components in aggressive mode How do I reset Windows Update components?
3.Reregister WU libraries Repair & Fix Windows Updates with Fix WU Utility | The Windows Club
4.Reinstall WU Agent How to obtain the latest version of the Windows Update Agent to help manage updates on a computer

And what setting would that be?

Either one of the three offered...I am at work now so I cant be precise, but i remember there are 3 options offered that you can uncheck.
I will try Flavius's suggestion and let you know if that fixed the problem.
