Solved Updates for Microsoft Office 2013

I finally just purchased Microsoft Office 2013 and I was wanting to know if Windows Update was suppose to find updates for the program, I have tried running the Check for Updates at least 5 times since purchasing and it continues saying, no important updates available is this normal

Click the Start Menu/Orb, click All Programs, then click Windows Update
Click Change Settings on the left side of the screen.
Under Microsoft Update make sure that this box is checked: Give me updates for Microsoft products and check for new optional Microsoft software when I update Windows
Click OK, you will see a UAC prompt

that didn't work it is still saying that no important updates are available

Well you purchased the brand new 2013, it more than likely updated with the install. I t might be a while before you need an update

Office 2013 updates itself when you open it. It phones home to Microsoft and if it needs an update it just does it.
You will notice a small icon on the right side of your taskbar when it updates and you will see a small popup telling you it is updating.
I have office 2013 on 3 computers and I love it. Micrososft finally got it right with this new version!
