Updates - which to avoid ?

I'm setting up a 3rd computer with Win 7, so I stopped by to read this. It doesn't look right, as 99 is much bigger than the list I've been using, and it goes only up to 2017.

As far as this thread is NOW concerned, it is outdated and pretty much useless because the list posted are upto December 2016.

It would take hours and hours to go through them, excluding updates and including updates, and even if you did have the time to do that, they are useless because they would STILL ONLY be upto the end of December 2016!

There are two proven methods that many members have used satisfactorily, the first is DISM++, and the second is SIMPLIX.

Up to 10/2018, I have only 18 listed which Dism++ chose last time I installed a 7.
Does Dism keep updating? Does it also D/L SP1?
