The user folder in root drive sometimes shared itself. I often unshared it and stays that way for a little while before sharing itself again. This really annoys me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Right click the folder, go down to share with, choose nobody. See if that will work.

Thanks for the reply. I tried your solution and its still keep sharing itself.

A slightly longer method to do the same as above is to right click the folder > Properties > click the "Sharing" tab > click "Advanced sharing" > uncheck the box that says "Share this folder", then click apply and OK etc.

Any luck?

It should work if you unshare the User folder from the Local Disk C:>User>right click User Name and Stop Sharing the folder, it may ask if you want to Stop Sharing other previously shared folders, click apply, ok.
