SB is new to me. I want all 3 of my browsers to be sandboxed. I've read the online tutorial, but it's not clear on certain issues, and some of it dates back to XP.

--I usually run 2 browsers at any one time. I set up Waterfox as the default Browser, but I can't figure out how to do Chrome and Firefox. They won't enter the Default Box. Do they have to be entered in a 2nd and 3rd box?

--Do I have to set this up each time I fire up a browser or does SB remember?

--How do I removed a D/L file from the sandbox and send it elsewhere in my computer?

You would have to setup your browser for where downloads go. And under Recover/quick recovery set the paths.

Not sure how more than one browser is used though. I just use it with one browser.

I've always had a folder where downloads go, in all 3 browsers. I usually run 2 because Chrome is only for online work, and I need Waterfox or Firefox at various times for myself
I don't understand "Recover/quick recovery"

Snick--
I found the Settings page. Do I make a separate Box for each browser? Also, SB's blocking my password manager from running. I had to stop it till i know how to remove Sticky Password..

You really need to read up on how SB works. It's not for the faint of heart. There and many configurations that need to be done.

The Recovery/quick recovery is under DefaultBox | Sandbox Settings | Recovery.

Open Sandbox Control
Click Sandbox
Hover over default box
Choose sandbox settings
Choose applications
Choose web browsers
Click the browser you wish to run sandboxed
Click the choice you wish, force to run in this sandbox (REGISTERED VERSION ONLY) etc.
click add
add what else you wish
apply
next browser, follow same
when finished click OK

You can also right-click any app and run sandboxed.

I just set my Firefox, Chrome, & Opera to run sandboxed in free version. Works fine!

You can also define specific path settings to be sandboxed or not. This is required if you chose to sandbox Thunderbird or another email client otherwise you'll lose settings and emails.

I have read the directions. Just info overload at a time when concentrating isn't easy. I'm just not all together right now, too much time alone.

Found it in the context menu. OK.
Will reread the other how-to's as I need them. Thanks, guys.

It's still blocking my Sticky Password extension, which connects with the SPW running as a program. I need to remove it from the box.

bump. Still blocking Sticky Password, and now Waterfox doesn't work either. I don't understand the "start/Run Access Restrictions." Yes, I've read it several times. I've turned off Sandboxie till I can get it working right.

Rowin7, you also running StickyPassword via Windows, outside of the browsers, correct? I have SP in Windows and the extensions in each browser (FF, GC, MS7 Edge, maybe IE?). While the Windows SP works fine within the browsers, their respective SP extensions - I'm still kinda sorta giving them the SpockEye. I'll be watching this thread to learn.
