So this has really been bugging me for some time. I go to completely uninstall programs and find out that is has not been completely uninstalled and there are still some hidden files and folders that I can only view by using this program called BitKinex. Having to launch this program is a step I want to be able to skip.

I have already have "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" enabled in the folder options. It did show some of the files and folders but not everything.

An example would be in Project64 the folders, Mempaks, Save, and cache still remain hidden.

I want to be able to view all folders and files without having to do an extra step and launch that program.

Well right the issue actually isn't uninstalling. I was just using that as an example of one of the issues. I just want to be able to see all folders and files because there are a lot of time where I'm trying to get something to work and I have to keep removing stuff in a cache folder of a program and the cache folder is hidden.

Being able to see these folders and files will be much easier.

Sometime you can't see they is because they are being used. See what you can find using Safe Mode where they might not be in use.

Well I'm pretty sure that the files in the cache folder in Project 64 are not being in use. I'm also able to delete them fine without getting an error. I could see what safe mode shows but switching to safe mode just to view these hidden folders and files will take even longer than launching that program.

EDIT: Using that program to view these hidden files and folders I went into the properties of some of the hidden folders and noticed a lock symbol next to the folder icon. Maybe that has something to do with this.

Sorry but I don't know of a method of removing stubborn things without spending time.

Ok just found something out. All those files and folders that were hidden were actually hidden because they didn't even exist there. They were in this folder located at "C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Local\VirtualStore"

Not really sure what VirtualStore is or why the program made it look like everything in the folder was also directly on the C drive.

Well at least I now have access to the folders and files I was looking for the problem is fixed.

VirtualStore is for when an application that does not have the proper permissions tries to write to a protected location like Program Files or Windows it gets redirected to the VirtualStore and the file system APIs and Explorer does some magic to fool the application into thinking the files are in the location it wrote them to.
