i switched over today i downloaded some drivers and now im gonna download visual c++ for some games but it keeps saying setup failed i decided to ask here

Looks like you have Service Pack zero, like you just installed the system. You need to install Service Pack 1. Then I would use Legacy Update to get some key updates. Then either run Windows Update or use Simplix Update.

i downloaded an update called KB2533552 from the microsoft update catalog but it didnt change any other suggestions or did i download a wrong thing?
