Hello,

I'm running VMWare workstation 14.2 and every time I revert to a snapshot, my machine is stuck precisely at that point. Whatever modifications I make after that, including takeing other snapshots, are never written to the disk. I checked and apparently all the snapshots are being saved alright and display correct state of the machine but if I revert to any of them, I'm stuck there and if I take other screenshots, they are saved alright to but I can't go back to them, only the very first one. This is th error I get when trying to revert to the later snapshots

The parent virtual disk has been modified since the child was created. The content ID of the parent virtual disk does not match the corresponding parent content ID in the child

Cannot open the disk 'C:\Users\Danny\Documents\Virtual Machines\Windows 8.x [Audit]\Windows 8.x [Audit]-000003.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.

Module 'Disk' power on failed.

Failed to start the virtual machine.

Does anyone kind enough to help me out with this ? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
