web links in wlm 2011

i'm having trouble clicking on links in emails with wlm 2011.

they only work if i change my default browser to ie8.

this is not what i want - my fave browser is chromeplus.

i know it's a bit of an unusual browser, but the rest of windows is happy with it being my default, it's only wlm 2011 that has problems. the old version of wlm worked fine with chromeplus.

i've looked about in various places in registry, but can't find relevant settings for default browser for wlm.

Just to be sure, have you done the Default Programs Dance. (4th option "computer defaults">>custom>>select desired email and browser...NOT "my current")?

thanks roncerr, but that didn't do it.

chromeplus is happy to be my default browser everywhere else, except for wlm 2011. i can click on a link in any other program quite happily.

let's try reinstalling wlm...

*edit* didn't fix it, sigh.

guess i'll have to start right-clicking on links instead, and copy the shortcut.
