What Games will this PC run on Good Performance?

This is my Brother PC Specs Below:

Intel Dual Core E5300
Intel DG31PR Montherboard
Kingston 2GB DDR2 Memory
Seagate 250GB HDD
450W PSU
ACER LCD Monitor 1366x768 native
Win 7 32bit

Now there's a guy in my city who is selling MSI NX 8600GT 512MB 128bit GPU for real cheap price like 20 bucks! So tell me what games will the system be able to play at good performance including older and of course few new titles as well usually my brother just like to watch Movies, listen Music and browsing on it but i notice that i does'nt have that good desktop performance with Aero and video stuff with on-board graphics. So i guess by getting that 8600GT it will of course boost up HD Videos, DVD videos etc. Performance along with Desktop!

Will it play these games:

Call of Duty MW, WAW, MW2, BO and MW3
Batman Arkham Asylum
Blur
Driver San Francisco
Need For Speed Shift 2

The 8600GT will be an improvement. But don't expect a barnstormer. It will still be a good system for your brother's applications.

It should be able to play new games just search the card on youtube and there's a good amount of videos but they are like on lower settings and lower resolutions running around 25-30fps.

Yes. The Call of Duty series is pretty 'light' on resources, although expect to add a few medium or low settings here and there. Particularly with the newer titles in the series.

Batman Arkham Asylum

PhysX off, low-med settings. BMA is quite intensive on the higher settings.

Medium-ish settings.

Honestly, it's easier for you to list titles than it is for us to list games.

There's simply too many to mention mate.


On average though, you'd be looking at a lot of medium type settings with certain features either low or disabled (SSAO/post processing effects in particular)

Certain titles you might be able to mix medium/high, others medium/low. And the low resolution will help with some, while hurt with others.
