I know the difference is one can use HDMI and the other can use VGA.

There are 2 monitors on the Dell website, they are both Ultra Sharp and they are both full HD. One is £490 and the other is £322.80.

This is the most expensive one - Dell UltraSharp U2413 61cm(24") PremierColor LED monitor DVI,DP,HDMI (1920x1200) Black.

This is the ceaper one - Dell UltraSharp U2412M 61cm (24") LED monitor VGA,DVI,DP (1920x1200) Black.

Apart from the price and one having a HDMI port there doesn't seem any difference between the 2, can someone clarify please.

HDMI also carries an Audio signal so maybe one has speakers and the other doesn't? VGA is analog. DVI and HDMI are digital signals. DVI is video only and HDMI is video and audio.

Looking at a page with full specs could make the differences seem more obvious.
Dell UltraSharp U2413 specs
Dell UltraSharp U2412M specs

To sum it up:
-the more expensive has a USB 3.0 hub, the other has a 2.0 hub.
-the more expensive has an audio out and mounting points for "Dell Soundbar (AX510)" which I assume is some kind of speaker addon.
-the more expensive has something they call " PremierColor", the other does not. No idea what that is.
