ZaLiTH
I be Dre... (:
First things first, I was somewhat mistaken with the speed.. It's just over 15k, not 17k MB/s. Which isn't much better than the 12k I got with my DDR2-1066 on my previous board.
Yup, definitely dual channel. I haven't overclocked anything yet with my new machine, but I did tighten the timings to the recommended values. Still, I'm getting these sort of speeds...
ZaLiTH, Are you sure it is in Dual channel? I had an issue with mine when setting to 1600, it was at 17k until moving the RAM to dual channel and it went up to 21.9k (close to dude's)
(I am running on an AMD platform with an FX chip)
