Which Build is the best so far?

I've been using build 7000 x64 on my desktop PC as my main OS since it was released, haven't encountered any problems what so ever ( besides a VERY sluggish IE).

Been running every 32-bit build on my laptop since 6801 as it's only OS, current install is 7056. Since build 7056 has caused me some grieve with flaky wifi and explorer crashes, I've stayed with build 7000 for the desktop. I've started to regret my upgrade from 7048 to 7056 on my laptop...

I will probably stay "as is" until the RC is out.
:)

i would have to say that build 7048 is the best by far on my laptop. i use it as my main OS. I think it is an improvement over the previous build. i am waiting to finish downloading the next build, but with the reported bugs, i think i will hold off.

The only thing that i have a problem with overall with all my experience is lack of XDDM such as my display adapter. i can view a movie full screen, and have full acceleration of video, but when i use the Aero Snap (to maximize the window with the running video) the computer locks up like it did often under build 7000 (except in that build, i couldnt run a video on my external monitor at full acceleration). I will more than likely buy a used computer good enough to run Win 7 on it and test it out fully.

I am loving 7048. From what I've read here....it would not be a bad option to keep 7048 at least until an RC is out. I think I'll leave it alone and keep 7048. It runs like a charm. You can even get all the themes from all the different countries and that makes it nice. I would like to see that expiration date say "March 1 2010" though. That's why I would consider 7057. The RC should be the ticket when it comes out. Is it going to be available to the public? I think it is but......not sure.

I've been running v7057 x64 for about a week now & I just love it!
It's so fast on my system its not funny! :p
Bootup is about 1/3 faster than the 32bit version as well.
I was amazed at the time it took to do a clean install! 12 mins total! WOW!!!

There hasn't been any programs, drivers or games yet that I've had a problem or slow down with...very, very nice & solid for a RC interim build! :D

7057 is the best build period my computer flies. Other than the sata problem which took 4 hours to figure out. You can't have your sata drive on 0 or your computer will take forever to load i put it on sata 2 it makes vista look bad. In the week i have had this not one hang up.

7000 was the most trouble free but I'm currently on 7057 and apart from some minor stuff it runs just fine. Plus they fixed some bugs that plagued 7048, like the one where certain portions of the Explorer window couldn't be resized (like the path field, which became way too small to use) if using a 30" screen.

I still have a soft spot for 6801 :p

i agree...... it could of just been b/c that was my first taste of W7, i think it was my most pleasing experience though.

& x86 6956 was by far the worst :( (for me)....
